Secretary-General Liu attended the 4th Midsummer Art Season

On May 25 2025, the 4th Midsummer Art Season, hosted by Beijing Shouwenke Cultural and Creative Properties Co., Ltd., officially kicked off at the Beijing Baoshuiqu Art Zone. Liu Jiang, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of our association, was invited to attend the 4th Midsummer Art Season and the opening ceremony of "2025 International Contemporary Tempera Invitational Exhibition".

The 2025 International Contemporary Tempera Invitational Exhibition, attracted over 40 artists from around the world specializing in tempera, including Andrew Wyeth, Pietro Annigoni, Boris Zaborov, Osamu Obi, Pan Shixun, Cao Jigang, Chao Ge, Liu Kongxi, Li Xiaogang, among others, showcasing more than 60 exquisite works. The exhibition highlighted the diverse possibilities of this ancient painting technique in contemporary art. Notably, Anthony Connolly, President of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, and Vice President Anthony Williams also participated with their works and attended the opening events. This marked the first visit to China by the Society's president in its 134-year history, signifying a new height in Sino-British artistic dialogue.

During the opening ceremony, Liu Jiang, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of our association, met with Wang Fulun, General Manager of Beijing Shouwenke Cultural and Creative Properties Co., Ltd., Wang Jing, Director of the Art Research Center at Li Keran Painting Academy, and Anthony Connolly, President of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters in the UK, engaged in an exchange.

Attending the opening ceremony were leaders and distinguished guests including: Jin Shangyi, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Artists Association and former President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Zhang Zuying, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Oil Painting Society and Deputy Director of the Oil Painting Academy at the China National Academy of Painting, Pan Shixun, Honorary Council Member of the Chinese Oil Painting Society and Professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Anthony Connolly, President of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters in the UK, Anthony Williams, Vice President of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters in the UK, Zhang Zikang, former Director of the Central Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum and current Director of the Xinyi Art Museum, Qi Ying, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant of the Capital Culture and Technology Group,  Wang Fulun, Beijing Shouwenke Cultural and Creative Real Estate Co., Ltd. General Manager, Liu Jiang, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China International Economic and Cultural Exchange Promotion Association, Dong Xuemei, Director of the Shunyi District Cultural Promotion Center, and Yu Boyu, General Manager of the Shunyi Cultural Tourism Group, among others.
